First cultural festival in Tadjourah to boost tourism

All those who live there, who have lived there, who were born there or who are originally from Tadjourah, are exultant to see the realization of the dazzling idea of organizing the first edition of the festival dedicated to the culture of old city commonly called Tadjourah the White.

Inspired by Afro-Muslim influence, the culture specific to the thousand-year-old city is distinguished by its exceptional beauty. But beyond its cultural brilliance, this festival serves as a catalyst for regional tourism.

Cultural diversity, imbued with Islamic influence, is undoubtedly the pride of the Tadjouroise or Tadjourois. It is a wealth that attracts visitors, curious to discover the cultural treasures of this thousand-year-old city.

Everyone knows that in all self-respecting societies around the world, culture plays a preponderant role in guaranteeing social peace and harmonious living together. Which explains the admission without major obstacles of all people living in the City to the “Fi’ma” (social group like association).

Tomorrow Thursday, December 21, 2023, in addition to the inhabitants of the white city, many guests are expected on site. Several ministers and renowned personalities will be present, highlighting the importance of this event.

On the technical side, the famous Djiboutian journalist Ms. Hasna Maki Houmed-Gaba will be at the microphone on stage to direct the ceremony. The artistic director and director of the Palais du Peuple Mr. Abayazid Houmed Ali will watch over the technicians responsible for managing the technical console throughout the event.
